Systems Engineer Actalent
Overview
Systems Engineer leading development and testing of unmanned and manned aircraft platforms and unmanned ground vehicles. Manage full lifecycle from concept to deployment. Ensure compliance with functional specifications and customer definitions.
What You'll Do11
- 1Analyze customer and stakeholder needs to develop and allocate requirements to system elements
- 2Design system architectures aligned with mission objectives
- 3Create and maintain system design documentation including schematics and ICDs
- 4Utilize analytical models to support design trade studies and performance assessments
- 5Plan and document test strategies covering integration and test activities
- 6Lead testing activities including I&T HIL SIL and operational test execution
- 7Maintain traceability between requirements design implementation and test results
- 8Participate in planning and deployment of moderately complex engineered systems
- 9Collaborate with Software Engineering team on system and test requirements
- 10Adhere to structured development processes including PDR and CDR milestones
- 11Develop detailed test cases directly from requirements to verify performance

- 1Experience developing system requirements and architectures with multidisciplinary teams
- 2Proven involvement in requirements definition system design integration and test
- 3Interface Control Document experience
- 4Defense or aerospace industry background
- 5Direct experience with aircraft systems and unmanned aerial vehicle systems
- 6Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- 7Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex technical information
- 8Excellent communication skills for cross-functional environments
- 9Technical leadership capabilities with self-directed work style
- 10Results-oriented mindset with ownership and urgency
- 11Hands-on test and integration experience for aircraft and embedded systems
