Lead shipping operations at a gypsum production facility. Manage direct reports and drive efficiency. Ensure safety and compliance across all shipping activities.
What You'll Do14
- 1Develop direct reports through effective communication and performance evaluations
- 2Motivate and encourage team to positively contribute in their roles
- 3Ensure team operates effectively compared to benchmarks
- 4Drive safety excellence through incident reporting and hazard mitigation
- 5Communicate with Shipping Manager and operations teams regarding inventory systems
- 6Support new system implementation involving Safety Quality and Operations
- 7Streamline shift inventory counts and production processes
- 8Improve reliability efficiency and act as point of contact for maintenance
- 9Assist with monthly inventory audits
- 10Own rework process for boards and ensure timely disposition
- 11Monitor and enforce shipping best practices and SOPs
- 12Lead coordination with production on condensing/opening bays
- 13Maintain clean shipping area and ensure equipment functionality
- 14Track and report shipping metrics to develop improvement strategies
Requirements5
- 15+ years leadership in gypsum industry
- 25+ years warehouse experience
- 3SAP experience
- 4Microsoft Office proficiency
- 5Three or more years of relevant leadership experience
Salary Insight
$85 - $90k per year
