Shipping Associate, FedEx/UPS & Inventory Control
Overview
The Shipping Associate will own inbound and outbound shipments at scale, maintaining precise records and ensuring timely, accurate delivery. You will work with cross functional teams and carriers to keep operations compliant and efficient. This role emphasizes process discipline, documentation accuracy, and continuous learning of new system methods and technologies. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and process inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy and speed
- 2Maintain detailed records of all shipments and inventory to support audits
- 3Print labels and postage and ensure compliance with shipping standards
- 4Communicate effectively with suppliers and delivery staff to resolve issues and ensure timely shipments
- 5Manage goods across divisions and perform quality checks prior to shipment
- 6Document shipping transactions and update systems to reflect status and location
- 7Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on new systems and technologies
- 8Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and reduce shipment defects
- 9Scale shipping operations to support growing order volume
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Previous experience in shipping and receiving operations preferred
- 3Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Teams, and Excel
- 4Experience with shipping applications such as FedEx ShipManager, Pitney Bowes PitneyTrack, and UPS
- 5Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 6Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and external partners
- 7Previous CPG experience
