As a Shift Manager at Subway, you'll own the front-line operations of a high-volume restaurant, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. What You'll Do9
- 1Provide an excellent guest experience by greeting customers, taking orders, and resolving issues on the spot.
- 2Prepare and serve great food, following Subway brand standards for quality and freshness.
- 3Keep the restaurant functional, clean, and beautiful, including dining area, restrooms, and back-of-house.
- 4Control inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
- 5Schedule and supervise staff, assigning tasks and ensuring coverage during peak hours.
- 6Cascade training to Sandwich Artists™ on new and existing responsibilities, using Subway training materials.
- 7Ensure all equipment is in proper working order during shift, reporting any maintenance issues.
- 8Complete paperwork as needed, including shift reports, cash handling logs, and inventory counts.
- 9Operate the computerized Point of Sale system and handle cash transactions accurately.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 21+ years experience in a restaurant environment
- 3Strong communication and organizational skills
- 4Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed
- 5Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system and cash register
- 6Physical stamina to bend, stand, and walk for the entire workday
- 7Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and 30 pounds occasionally
- 8Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, and day, evening, or weekend shifts as assigned
