Overview
You will own the entire shift at a Subway restaurant, serving hundreds of guests daily and managing a team of Sandwich Artists™. You will ensure food quality, cleanliness, and speed while controlling inventory and scheduling staff. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work with a diverse team in a busy environment. What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver an excellent guest experience by greeting customers and resolving issues on the spot.
- 2Prepare and serve fresh food, following Subway recipes and safety standards to ensure quality.
- 3Keep the restaurant functional, clean, and beautiful, coordinating cleaning tasks and equipment checks.
- 4Control inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and reducing waste during your shift.
- 5Schedule and supervise staff, assigning tasks and ensuring coverage for all positions.
- 6Cascade training to Sandwich Artists™ on new procedures, recipes, and customer service.
- 7Ensure equipment like the POS system and ovens are in proper working order, reporting issues immediately.
- 8Complete shift paperwork accurately, including cash reports, inventory counts, and incident logs.
- 9Operate the computerized POS system to process transactions, handle cash, and manage orders efficiently.
Requirements5
- 11+ year of experience in a restaurant environment, with hands-on knowledge of food service operations.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- 3Ability to stand and walk for the entire workday, bending and lifting as needed for the role.
- 4Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 30 pounds occasionally.
- 5Willingness to work any area of the restaurant, including front counter, dining room, and kitchen.
