Overview
As a Sandwich Artist at Subway, you'll own the guest experience from order to handoff in a high-volume restaurant. What You'll Do9
- 1Greet guests and recommend meal options based on their taste, guiding them through the order process from start to finish.
- 2Prepare and serve fresh sandwiches, salads, and wraps while upholding Subway food safety standards every shift.
- 3Operate the Point of Sale system to ring up orders, handle cash, and process card payments accurately.
- 4Clean and sanitize dining areas, counters, and equipment to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- 5Stock ingredients, bread, and supplies to ensure line readiness during peak hours.
- 6Collaborate with teammates to manage rush periods, ensuring every order is correct and served promptly.
- 7Follow Subway procedures for food storage and rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- 8Train new team members on sandwich assembly and customer service protocols.
- 9Assist in opening or closing duties, including cash reconciliation and equipment shutdown.
Requirements8
- 1Some high school or equivalent education is required; no prior experience needed.
- 2Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- 3Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system and cash register.
- 4Physical stamina to stand and walk for the entire shift, with frequent bending and reaching.
- 5Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- 6Availability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- 7Willingness to complete Subway training program on food safety and guest service.
- 8Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
