Shift Leader, Fast Casual Restaurant Management
Overview
You will own daily store operations at NAYA, driving sales, controlling labor, and managing COGS. You lead a team of 8-12 in a high-volume, fast-casual environment with authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead shift operations to meet sales targets, control labor, and manage food costs.
- 2Oversee food and beverage preparation to ensure NAYA's recipes and quality standards are met.
- 3Manage daily shift schedules, adjusting for sales volume, and ensure accurate clock-ins.
- 4Conduct ordering, monthly inventory, and stock control for food, equipment, and supplies.
- 5Handle cash and receipts per cash handling procedures, and complete administrative tasks.
- 6Hire, train, and coach team members in partnership with the General Manager.
- 7Run pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations, share feedback, and celebrate wins.
- 8Resolve guest complaints and respond to online reviews to maintain community reputation.
- 9Execute catering and third-party orders with focus on on-time delivery.
- 10Enforce opening and closing procedures and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Requirements8
- 12+ years leading teams in a high-volume, fast-casual restaurant.
- 2Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- 3Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- 4Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- 5Ability to use Gmail and Microsoft Office for daily tasks.
- 6Capability to input data accurately into a moderately complex computer system.
- 7Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules.
- 8Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8-10 hours.
