Overview

You will own resident services at Country Hills, a family property in San Jose, delivering programs that build stability and opportunity for 200+ households. You will lead after-school, summer, ESL, health, and financial empowerment initiatives, coordinating with partners and property management. What You'll Do8

  • 1Deliver onsite programs at Country Hills to meet internal standards and regulatory expectations, adapting content to resident needs.
  • 2Conduct door-to-door, phone, and email outreach to increase resident awareness and participation in services.
  • 3Build and manage partnerships with local service providers to expand program offerings and resource access.
  • 4Provide individualized support and service coordination, including referrals and enrollment assistance for specialized programs.
  • 5Maintain accurate property-level records, entering and tracking all service activities daily, weekly, and monthly in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • 6Model leadership and a can-do attitude, fostering collaboration with property management and team members.
  • 7Plan and lead community events and interactions that build trust and engagement among residents.
  • 8Support educational programs including after-school tutoring, college readiness, and ESL classes.

Requirements10

  • 1B.A. or B.S. in Social Work, Sociology, Education, Gerontology, or related field plus 1 year experience in community development or social services.
  • 21+ years working with diverse populations, including youth (5-12 age range) in classroom or after-school settings, or with older adults.
  • 3Experience in program and service implementation and coordination.
  • 4Experience collaborating with local service providers.
  • 5Strong customer service orientation with relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills.
  • 6Ability to exercise judgment, discretion, and creative problem-solving when supporting residents.
  • 7Commitment to working with underserved populations and continuous learning in social services.
  • 8Proficiency with Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Zoom, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 9Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 10Availability to work 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday-Friday, with one or two evenings until 7:00 PM and occasional weekends.
