Assistant Community Manager LHH US San Jose
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to support daily administrative and operational functions of an affordable housing community. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with resident files and compliance documentation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Complete annual resident recertifications and ensure accurate documentation
- 2Prepare review and upload move-in and resident files into the property management system (RPCS)
- 3Process and apply Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) accurately and timely
- 4Scan organize and maintain resident checks and supporting documentation
- 5Maintain and update weekly unit availability and occupancy logs
- 6File and organize resident compliance and property records
- 7Assist with resident correspondence and administrative support tasks
- 8Ensure compliance with housing regulations and company policies
- 9Support the Community Manager with day-to-day property operations and special projects as assigned
Requirements7
- 1Previous experience in property management affordable housing leasing or administrative support
- 2Experience with annual recertifications resident files or affordable housing compliance is a plus
- 3Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook Word and Excel
- 5Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- 6Excellent customer service and communication skills
- 7Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
