Overview
Own and optimize enterprise Microsoft infrastructure at scale, across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure. Lead a small technical team to support and improve critical server and cloud environments in a hybrid setup. Collaborate with engineers, administrators, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure IT services. This role blends hands-on administration with technical leadership and ongoing process improvements.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain Windows Server ecosystems including 2012 R2 through 2025 across physical and virtual environments
- 2Design and implement Active Directory and Entra ID solutions, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity approaches
- 3Lead Microsoft 365 and Exchange/Exchange Online administration, migrations, and incident resolution
- 4Oversee Azure infrastructure, identity, security, and integration with on-premises systems
- 5Manage virtualization with Hyper-V and VMware, including migrations where applicable
- 6Provide technical leadership to a small team, coordinate work, and ensure documentation and change control
- 7Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform performance tuning, and proactively address capacity issues
- 8Configure and administer IIS and SFTP environments and related storage permissions
- 9Participate in upgrades, migrations, and technical projects with defined outcomes
- 10Maintain service delivery through service-management platforms like ServiceNow and clear change records
Requirements10
- 110+ years of hands-on Windows Server experience including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning
- 2Advanced administration of Windows Server in physical and virtual environments
- 3Strong experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD
- 4Advanced Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online administration
- 5Strong Microsoft Azure administration experience
- 6Hands-on with DNS, DHCP, GPO, Print Servers, Windows File Systems, and IIS
- 7Experience with SFTP setup and administration
- 8Strong virtualization experience with Hyper-V and VMware
- 9Proven ability to coordinate a small technical team and communicate with stakeholders
- 10Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
