Senior Superintendent, Multifamily Construction
Overview
Own field operations on 10+ million multifamily and commercial builds across Los Angeles. Direct 5-10 Superintendents and 20+ subcontractors, delivering on-time, under-budget projects. Collaborate with Project Managers on Procore scheduling and QA/QC. Mentor field staff to elevate team performance. This role offers $10K auto allowance and 100% employer-paid health benefits.
What You'll Do9
- 1Drive field execution for multifamily projects, managing multiple Superintendents and subcontractors to hit safety, schedule, and quality targets.
- 2Partner with Project Managers to build look-ahead schedules, sequence work, and resolve conflicts on Procore and PM Web.
- 3Lead QA/QC inspections and final walkthroughs, catching defects before turnover and ensuring OSHA compliance.
- 4Mentor 2-3 Superintendents, conducting weekly one-on-ones and performance reviews to grow their field leadership skills.
- 5Run weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and OAC sessions, keeping owners and architects aligned.
- 6Oversee site mobilization and logistics, from crane lifts to material staging, reducing idle time and cost overruns.
- 7Audit field reports and RFIs, correcting documentation errors within 24 hours to keep project records clean.
- 8Champion a safety-first culture, enforcing CPR and First-Aid protocols and reducing incident rates.
- 9Coordinate commissioning and close-out, delivering punch lists and training to ownership for smooth handover.
Requirements9
- 110+ years in construction supervision, with multifamily experience preferred.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent; CPC certification a plus.
- 3Current OSHA 30 and CPR/First-Aid certifications.
- 4Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PM Web or similar software.
- 6Deep knowledge of construction drawings, technical specs, and field sequencing.
- 7Proven record leading $20M+ projects with tight deadlines and complex logistics.
- 8Strong problem-solving skills, organizing multiple crews and trades simultaneously.
- 9Clear communication style, interfacing with executives, clients, and field teams.
