What You'll Do11
- 1Provide senior technical direction for bridge design and inspection projects
- 2Lead complex structural analysis and design for various bridge types
- 3Develop and review calculations specifications and load rating packages
- 4Coordinate design with roadway hydraulics and geotechnical teams
- 5Act as Engineer of Record or senior advisor as needed
- 6Support bridge type selection and constructability reviews
- 7Perform field assessments and bridge inspections
- 8Implement QA/QC procedures for engineering deliverables
- 9Mentor junior staff through technical guidance and design reviews
- 10Apply AASHTO LRFD specifications and relevant state/federal standards
- 11Drive value engineering and risk identification initiatives
Requirements11
- 1B.S. Civil Engineering with structure emphasis
- 215+ years bridge engineering experience
- 3Professional Engineer License
- 4Structural Engineer Registration
- 5NBIS bridge inspection qualifications
- 6Expertise in modern bridge design codes
- 7Proven track record in bridge rehabilitation and load rating
- 8Experience with federal state and local bridge projects
- 9Familiarity with challenging site conditions
- 10Knowledge of bridge software tools like OpenBridge and MicroStation
- 11Strong communication and leadership abilities
