What You'll Do8

  • 1Direct annual strategic planning cycles, including service line strategies, capital business plans, and operational plans for a $24B health system.
  • 2Build partnership frameworks for mergers, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, evaluating opportunities and negotiating terms with external entities.
  • 3Translate system strategy into actionable plans for regional leaders, tailoring recommendations to entity-level priorities.
  • 4Conduct market analysis using demographic, economic, and consumer demand data to identify growth opportunities across the care continuum.
  • 5Improve strategic toolkits, including financial models, benchmarks, and due diligence methodologies, to support data-driven decisions.
  • 6Lead RFP processes from evaluation to submission, providing decision support to senior leadership.
  • 7Present findings and recommendations to executive audiences, influencing investment decisions on high-impact projects.
  • 8Manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years in healthcare planning, process management, or operations, with a bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • 2Proven ability to analyze market trends, financial data, and operational metrics using advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 3Strong executive presence, with experience presenting to C-suite leaders and boards.
  • 4Expertise in the full Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel modeling and PowerPoint storytelling.
  • 5Exceptional project management skills, capable of handling multiple high-stakes initiatives simultaneously.
  • 6Master's degree preferred, with health system or health plan experience highly desirable.
  • 7Experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting within healthcare.
