Sr Finance Manager - Healthcare Finance & FP&A
Overview
Own the full P&L narrative for assigned business segments, from budget through close, serving as a strategic, hands-on business partner to operational leaders. You will drive financial reporting and forecasting with Excel, PowerPoint, and Solver, leading a team of Finance Managers and Analysts. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, you will collaborate cross-functionally to shape financial strategy in a complex healthcare services organization. What You'll Do8
- 1Build annual budgets and quarterly forecasts across multiple entities using Excel and Solver.
- 2Deliver financial reporting packages for the Board of Directors and operational leaders, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- 3Lead monthly financial reviews with operational teams, translating results into actionable insights.
- 4Create financial models and pro forma analyses to evaluate acquisitions, services, and process changes.
- 5Mentor a team of Finance Managers and Analysts, reviewing work product and guiding professional growth.
- 6Drive process improvements across reporting and forecasting workflows, including system enhancements with Excel and Solver.
- 7Partner with senior leaders to develop financial strategies, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- 8Manage cross-functional projects like new service line launches and acquisition integration from a finance perspective.
Requirements8
- 17+ years progressive experience in corporate or operations finance, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; other disciplines considered with extensive finance experience.
- 3Strong knowledge of P&L, cash flow, balance sheets, and inter-company reporting.
- 4Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and GAAP principles.
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, plus financial forecasting tools like Solver.
- 6Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor finance staff, ensuring accuracy and completeness of analytical work.
- 7Familiarity with multi-entity consolidations and segment-level reporting in a healthcare or services organization.
- 8Health care services experience is a plus.
