What You'll Do11
- 1Review operational events and propose refinements automation and broaden handling capabilities focusing on service uptime and performance
- 2Interact with stakeholders across Enterprise Operations Cybersecurity networking teams and technology support partners for troubleshooting and solution development
- 3Identify and report vulnerabilities and risk states of the client virtual server and container hosting architecture
- 4Assist in developing quality control checks for service uptime and operational metrics
- 5Coordinate technical staff and vendors to resolve complex issues
- 6Demonstrate expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation VCF and Aria Operation suite
- 7Troubleshoot intricate problems and define performance benchmarks
- 8Lead initiatives to enhance storage systems reliability and efficiency
- 9Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VMware products and related technologies
- 10Develop documentation for operational processes and best practices
- 11Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing
Requirements11
- 15+ years of relevant experience in storage systems engineering
- 2Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field
- 3Proven experience with VMware products and cloud infrastructure
- 4Strong understanding of network switching in Dell Blade systems and firewall management
- 5Certification in AWS Certified or equivalent cloud certification
- 6Experience with Kubernetes and container infrastructure
- 7Ability to work in high-tempo environments with cross-functional teams
- 8Clearance to handle sensitive government information
- 9Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- 10Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- 11Demonstrated leadership in technical projects
Salary Insight
$130 - $160k per year
