VMware Infrastructure Engineer Remote
Overview
Design and operate VMware virtualization software-defined networking and storage platforms across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. This is a full-time remote position with significant career growth potential. - 1Design and deploy VMware virtualization and software-defined networking solutions
- 2Operate vSphere vCenter and ESXi infrastructure
- 3Implement vSAN storage policy management
- 4Configure NSX-T or NSX-V networking solutions
- 5Automate capacity management using PowerCLI scripting
- 6Develop and maintain disaster recovery patterns
- 7Troubleshoot issues across compute network and storage layers
- 8Drive migration programs from legacy virtualization platforms
- 9Scale and optimize VMware estates with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid
- 10Ensure high availability through SRM practices
- 11Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2Five or more years of VMware platform engineering experience
- 3Deep expertise in vSphere vCenter and ESXi
- 4Hands-on experience with vSAN storage policy management
- 5Proficiency with NSX-T or NSX-V networking
- 6Strong PowerCLI scripting skills
- 7Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms
- 8Understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM
- 9Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- 10Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS AVS or GCVE
- 11Exposure to VMware Cloud Foundation or VCF concepts
