You'll join a dynamic defense contractor, part of Firefly Aerospace, collaborating with the Infrastructure Team Lead on configuration management and task execution. What You'll Do8

  • 1Design, deploy, and maintain functional systems and private cloud platforms supporting custom applications and DevOps processes.
  • 2Resolve escalated issues from lower service desk tiers by troubleshooting deployed, cloud, and local infrastructure.
  • 3Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness across Linux and Windows environments.
  • 4Mentor team members on technical issues and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • 5Create, oversee, and test security measures such as access authentication and disaster recovery.
  • 6Communicate with users to design and field optimal solutions for infrastructure needs.
  • 7Design and implement solutions to deliver superior system performance, capacity, and scalability.
  • 8Maintain complete technical documentation in support of ATO packages.

Requirements9

  • 15+ years actively deploying or maintaining technologies such as VMware, Linux, Windows, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
  • 210+ years of total professional experience.
  • 3Excellent organizational and mentoring skills.
  • 4Detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
  • 6Preferred: 2+ years of team lead experience.
  • 7Preferred: Security+ Certification.
  • 8Preferred: Experience managing storage appliances.
  • 9Preferred: Linux, VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Windows certifications.
