What You'll Do11
- 1Build complex subsystem emulation models including design integration environment setup compilation and debug across Veloce ZeBu and Palladium platforms
- 2Drive emulation bring up activities clock reset sequencing firmware boot and system validation using pre silicon hardware models
- 3Execute emulation test plans supporting verification performance analysis and software development across multiple teams
- 4Collaborate with Senior Emulation Engineers RTL design and firmware teams to develop accurate hardware models and ensure seamless integration
- 5Debug complex SoC and subsystem issues across RTL firmware emulation platforms and toolchain interactions
- 6Optimize emulation performance through model partitioning timing and runtime efficiency improvements
- 7Automate flows and enhance productivity via scripting in Python Perl Tcl and shell languages
- 8Interface with EDA vendors Synopsys Cadence and Siemens to evaluate tool capabilities resolve technical issues and drive feature improvements
- 9Define emulation strategy and platform requirements develop test plans and drive verification execution for large-scale products on Veloce ZeBu and Palladium
- 10Maintain proficiency in C++ and ARM assembly while demonstrating diligence attention to detail and initiative
- 11Work effectively with differing opinions collaborate constructively and adapt to fast paced environments
Requirements11
- 1BS in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years emulation experience or MS/PhD with 3-5 years experience
- 2Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM frameworks
- 3Extensive knowledge of emulation platforms from Synopsys Cadence and Siemens with deep SoC subsystem expertise
- 4Hands-on experience developing emulation models using vendor platforms
- 5Proficiency in emulation bring up including reset sequence execution and firmware bring up
- 6Strong working knowledge in processor architecture SoC components interconnect buses I/O protocols PCIe CXL Ethernet and memory interfaces DDR HBM
- 7Skilled in scripting languages Perl Python Tcl and UNIX shell
- 8Ability to define emulation strategy develop test plans and drive verification for large-scale products
- 9Good programming skills especially in C++ and ARM assembly
- 10Diligent detail oriented capable of taking initiative with minimal supervision
- 11Open-minded adaptable and able to learn quickly in a fastpaced environment
