What You'll Do11
- 1Define and execute the Product Quality Plan including quality targets CTQs and validation strategies
- 2Drive data-based lifecycle gate decisions and escalate risks affecting delivery
- 3Establish quality and reliability targets covering yield defect rates and escape risk
- 4Own manufacturing quality controls and serve as primary escalation owner for FAB partners
- 5Lead complex failure analysis across manufacturing qualification and field returns
- 6Act as single quality owner across design test manufacturing and customer teams
- 7Define and drive quality metrics and mentorship programs for junior staff
- 8Partner with engineering to close test coverage gaps and prevent escapes
- 9Mentor junior PQEs and influence broader quality standards
- 10Maintain clear quality risk posture understood by leadership
- 11Ensure system-level reliability requirements meet specified margins
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 210+ years experience in product quality reliability engineering or manufacturing quality
- 3Proven ownership of product quality across multiple lifecycle phases
- 4Strong background in qualification manufacturing processes and root-cause analysis
- 5Experience with semiconductor devices advanced packaging or system-level products
- 6Familiarity with reliability qualification field quality metrics
- 7Experience driving PCNs change control and supplier governance
- 8Deep executive and customer-facing communication skills
- 9Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
Salary Insight
$150 - $225k per year
