What You'll Do11
- 1Build and scale strategic sourcing programs for substrates including RFQs competitive bidding and price negotiations
- 2Partner with packaging engineering and product teams to align substrate roadmaps with advanced packaging trends
- 3Own supplier contracts and terms to mitigate risk and enforce performance accountability
- 4Lead quarterly supplier performance reviews and drive corrective actions across cost quality delivery and flexibility metrics
- 5Manage supply risk through dual‑sourcing safety stock and geopolitical mitigation strategies
- 6Support NPI and NRE programs by securing substrate capacity and engineering samples on aggressive timelines
- 7Present supply health risk assessments and cost savings reports to senior leadership
- 8Develop and run should‑cost models to improve total cost of ownership and drive productivity
- 9Represent Procurement in cross‑functional escalations regarding supply disruptions or quality issues
- 10Mentor and develop a team of commodity managers buyers and supply chain planners
- 11Travel internationally to engage with global suppliers and partners
Requirements9
- 1BS degree in Engineering Business or related field MBA or advanced technical degree a plus
- 212+ years progressive experience in semiconductor procurement strategic sourcing or supply chain with substrate focus
- 3Strong knowledge of organic laminate ABF RDL 2.5D-3D substrates and their interaction with flip‑chip wire‑bond and advanced packaging processes
- 4Proven ability to negotiate complex high‑value agreements and manage competitive bidding RFX with OSATs and manufacturers
- 5Global supplier management experience across Asia Europe with ability to travel internationally
- 6Advanced analytical and modeling skills including should‑cost analysis cost‑down programs and total cost of ownership evaluation
- 7Track record of building and leading high‑performing procurement or planning teams
- 8Excellent executive presence and communication skills demonstrated through presentations to senior leadership
- 9Strong working knowledge of substrate technologies and their impact on data infrastructure AI and cloud architectures
Salary Insight
$141 - $210k per year
