Overview
Lead analysis of complex supplier proposals to drive business growth through data driven insights. Responsibilities include reviewing cost elements ensure compliance with FAR DFARS TINA and L3H procedures. Report to Senior Manager of Price/Cost Analysis based in Canoga Park California. This role differs by focusing on end to end technology solutions across multiple domains.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build comprehensive analysis of high dollar cost proposals assessing subcontractor pricing adequacy according to FAR Part 15
- 2Conduct supplier fact finding to gather validation and verification of proposed costs
- 3Support negotiations with suppliers coordinating price discussions with buyers MPMs and ISTs
- 4Perform rate reviews requiring supplier payroll information and financial data for direct and indirect rates
- 5Mentor buyers in cost and price analysis techniques
- 6Prepare and present detailed cost reports to management contracts personnel customers and price auditors
- 7Develop and maintain cost models while preserving historical cost data
- 8Drive supplier negotiations covering price schedules and contract terms and conditions
- 9Drive strategic relationships with suppliers to achieve organizational goals
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 6 years relevant Proposal Financial Analysis or Pricing experience
- 2Graduate Degree combined with minimum 4 years related Proposal Pricing experience
- 3Minimum 10 years Proposal Pricing Estimating experience in lieu of degree
- 4At least 4 years government contract experience including processes and procedures
- 5Applicable knowledge of FAR DFARS CAS and procurement practices
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis
- 7Strong analytical skills with comfort using statistical models and pricing frameworks
- 8Experience with research methodologies and data visualization tools
