Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives
Overview
You own complex, multi-workstream initiatives from discovery through post-launch stabilization at Atrium, a WBENC-certified leader in Extended Workforce Management. You translate business objectives into actionable project plans, balancing scope, priorities, and timelines across cross-functional teams. You partner with executive sponsors, business leaders, and clients to drive alignment and decision-making. - 1Lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives from discovery through implementation and post-launch stabilization.
- 2Translate business objectives into actionable project plans, balancing scope, priorities, timelines, and organizational readiness.
- 3Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, governance structures, and communication plans.
- 4Support timely decision-making by identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities early while presenting practical recommendations.
- 5Continuously evaluate processes and recommend scalable improvements that support business growth.
- 6Serve as the central point of coordination for executive sponsors, business leaders, vendors, and clients throughout project execution.
- 7Coordinate and facilitate executive meetings, steering committees, and cross-functional working sessions that drive alignment and decision-making.
- 8Present project status, risks, recommendations, and business impacts to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- 9Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities while maintaining high-quality execution.
- 10Drive accountability across project teams to ensure commitments are met.
Requirements11
- 16+ years leading complex cross-functional projects, preferably within staffing, contingent workforce, HR technology, payroll, or professional services.
- 2Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business areas and executive stakeholders.
- 3Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
- 4Proven ability to influence decision-making without direct authority.
- 5Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand operational processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- 6Experience supporting organizational change, competing priorities, and ambiguous environments.
- 7Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and strategic planning skills.
- 8Experience with project management software/tools (e.g. Microsoft Suite, Jira, Visio).
- 9Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- 10Ability to commute to and work onsite in our Holmdel, NJ office on a hybrid schedule.
- 11Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
