Senior Project Manager, Commercial Real Estate
Overview
Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale commercial real estate projects in Boston, managing budgets up to $175M and teams of architects, engineers, and contractors. You lead design, permitting, and construction for ground-up developments and infrastructure builds. Partner with executives, investors, and leasing teams to drive projects from entitlement to closeout. What You'll Do10
- 1Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules for ground-up developments and infrastructure projects.
- 2Lead design and construction teams, coordinating architects, engineers, and general contractors.
- 3Collaborate with stakeholders (development, brokerage, leasing, client) to execute project plans.
- 4Produce weekly status reports and budget updates for clients and executives.
- 5Manage bid and award process, purchase orders, contracts, and change orders.
- 6Drive value engineering and cost control to meet financial targets.
- 7Partner with development team on pre-development and entitlement budgets.
- 8Coach and mentor project coordinators and associate project managers.
- 9Maintain working knowledge of development, lease, and property management agreements.
- 10Network in the community to build business relationships.
Requirements10
- 17+ years managing commercial real estate projects, including ground-up and infrastructure work.
- 2Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
- 3Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
- 4Proficiency with Kahua Software preferred.
- 5Practical understanding of local building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
- 6Working knowledge of development financing and pro forma generation.
- 7Proven ability to interpret joint venture and commercial lease agreements.
- 8Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 9Track record of delivering excellent customer service.
- 10Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
