Overview
You own technical and commercial delivery for $1M-$20M capital projects across plant operations. You align plant managers and business leaders to ensure safety, scope, and budget hold from kickoff to handoff. You manage unit operations like material handling and abatement systems, driving outcomes in a matrixed environment. This role demands deep project leadership with PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
What You'll Do8

- 2Coordinate with plant managers and business leaders to align project goals and stakeholder expectations.
- 3Manage contractors and internal teams to execute construction and commissioning safely.
- 4Drive risk assessments and mitigation strategies for $1M-$20M capital projects.
- 5Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations across all project phases.
- 6Report project status and financial health to leadership monthly.
- 7Lead technical reviews of designs and specifications for material handling and abatement systems.
- 8Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure best value for materials and equipment.
Requirements8
- 15+ years managing capital projects in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- 2Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, or civil) required.
- 3PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
- 4Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks for design review.
- 5Track record delivering projects in the $1M-$20M range on time and within budget.
- 6Strong knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 for scheduling.
- 7Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- 8Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and vendor meetings.
