Senior Payroll Analyst, Payroll & Timekeeping Systems
Overview
Own payroll processing for multiple jurisdictions across US and Canada with end to end delivery and compliance on a regional scale. Drive system implementations, integrations, and enhancements for payroll and timekeeping platforms with a focus on accuracy and SOX controls. Partner with Finance, HR, IT, Audit, and external vendors to optimize processes and payroll data insights. This role stands out through system leadership, cross functional collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and maintain end to end payroll processing across weekly and bi weekly cycles for multi state and cross border employees
- 2Lead payroll system implementations, integrations, upgrades and enhancements with quality customer service and SOX compliance
- 3Own annual payroll year end planning reconciliation reporting and successful completion of all year end activities
- 4Design and monitor payroll controls and data quality, and analyze payroll data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency
- 5Partner with Finance HR IT Audit and external vendors to ensure accurate payroll operations and ongoing compliance across jurisdictions
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting Finance HR or related field or equivalent experience
- 24+ years of progressive payroll processing and compliance experience
- 3Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems including system analysis integrations implementations or enhancements
- 4Strong analytical problem solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- 5Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
