What You'll Do17

  • 1Conduct onsite assessments and document current network architectures and mission-specific requirements
  • 2Lead hardware installations across multiple environments
  • 3Recommend tailored hardware specifications for unique project needs
  • 4Support systems engineering teams by modeling and analyzing proposed solutions
  • 5Design verify and implement hardware test interfaces
  • 6Perform MTBF/MTTR analyses to improve reliability and maintainability
  • 7Analyze operational data to identify vulnerabilities and performance gaps
  • 8Evaluate LAN/WAN designs ensuring adherence to mission security needs
  • 9Research COTS/GOTS technologies to enhance mission capability
  • 10Provide high-level expertise in network engineering architecture and planning
  • 11Contribute to technical standards interface specifications and network troubleshooting
  • 12Ensure designs meet all government security requirements
  • 13Develop security documentation for new and existing systems
  • 14Support wired and wireless network analysis and optimization
  • 15Conduct vendor comparisons cost studies and scalability assessments
  • 16Deliver independent evaluations of complex network ecosystems and recommend enhancements
  • 17Identify system weaknesses with actionable recommendations

Requirements5

  • 1Active NSA TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • 25+ years Network Security Engineering experience supporting SIGINT hardware systems
  • 3Bachelor’s degree in related technical field or equivalent experience
  • 4DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • 5Three of the following certifications: PCNSA SNSA SNSP Symantec ProxySG 6.7 Technical Specialist Cisco CCNA or higher
