What You'll Do10

  • 1Build mechanical solutions that meet design basis and regulatory requirements with Mechanical and P&ID standards in mind
  • 2Design and review equipment layouts, piping routes, and supports to optimize constructability and maintenance impact
  • 3Lead coordination with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and drive project milestones
  • 4Ship robust engineering deliverables within schedule, ensuring quality and safety standards are met in the field and office environments
  • 5Own project technical risk assessment and mitigation plans across multiple industries
  • 6Scale processes for knowledge transfer and cross-project reuse to accelerate delivery
  • 7Debug complex mechanical issues during construction and commissioning phases
  • 8Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency
  • 9Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate mechanical design with electrical, instrumentation, and controls
  • 10Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure consistent engineering practices

Requirements7

  • 1Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 215+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Power, Refining, or Chemical industries
  • 3Experience applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to ensure compliance with design basis, safety and environmental regulations
  • 4Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with internal teams, Vendors, and Clients
  • 5Willingness to learn and work on tasks across multiple industries
  • 6Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments
  • 7Strong desire for continuous improvement and career growth
