Chemical Delivery Design Manager, Mechanical & Fluid Systems
Overview
Own the design and execution of chemical and fluid delivery equipment for high-tech manufacturing at scale. Lead a team of engineers to develop standards, improve processes, and drive automation that supports rapid growth. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on design using CAD and process knowledge to close capability gaps. You’ll influence across multiple business units and partner with global teams to deliver robust systems.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the Equipment Engineering team to design and execute chemical and fluid delivery systems and assemblies
- 2Provide technical oversight for complex CDUs fluid delivery systems valve boxes and OEM assemblies
- 3Develop and improve engineering standards design methodologies and scalable processes
- 4Act as primary escalation point for complex equipment design and build challenges
- 5Support multiple business units across regions and report to the AZ leadership
- 6Design and review layouts assemblies and process systems using SolidWorks and 3D modeling platforms
- 7Create P&ID process flow diagrams mechanical schematics BOMs and fabrication packages
- 8Support quoting and estimating activities for large-scale chemical and fluid systems including job costing
- 9Drive automation data-driven tooling and engineering efficiency to speed up quoting and project delivery
- 10Lead cross-functional collaboration across Engineering Operations Manufacturing Project Management and Customers
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- 28+ years of experience in equipment engineering chemical systems or fluid systems
- 33+ years of leadership or management experience
- 4Strong experience designing and building chemical and fluid process equipment
- 5Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling software
- 6Advanced Microsoft Excel and engineering software automation tools
- 7Experience quoting large assemblies and complex equipment systems
- 8Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills
- 9Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- 10Preferred experience in semiconductor high-purity ultra-clean environments and related piping knowledge
