Senior Manager Fiber Services, ILA Power Deployment
Overview
The Senior Manager, Fiber Services owns the services execution model for fiber ILA power deployment programs supporting hyperscale and telecom customers. This leader translates customer requirements and deployment schedules into repeatable processes, resource plans, and partner models. The role works with the Fiber Products Business Unit, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure scalable, high-quality services delivery. This position requires strong operational ownership, technical aptitude, and cross-functional leadership in a matrixed organization. Reporting to the GM & SVP of Core Products, this role offers high ownership in shaping a growing services capability for critical power infrastructure.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the services execution model for fiber ILA power deployment programs across strategic hyperscale and telecom customers, ensuring site readiness and field execution quality with ILA power systems.
- 2Develop repeatable deployment processes, work instructions, and execution standards for ILA power site services, covering installation, commissioning, and closeout.
- 3Partner with Technical Services Delivery, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to establish clear handoffs between quoting, order management, materials readiness, field deployment, and closeout.
- 4Serve as the services execution leader for strategic customer programs, translating requirements into actionable plans and supporting customer reviews, escalations, and performance reporting.
- 5Build operating rhythms to manage deployment schedules, site readiness, resource availability, and program risk, using metrics for safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost-to-serve.
- 6Develop installation and commissioning standards with engineering and field service teams, driving corrective actions and lessons learned to improve execution consistency.
- 7Define the services capacity model, evaluating internal field resources, subcontractors, certified partners, or hybrid models, and support partner qualification and performance management.
- 8Work with Supply Chain to align labor, materials, logistics, and site support requirements to deployment schedules, building scalable resource planning processes.
- 9Partner with Sales, Quotation, and Finance to ensure deployment assumptions, scope definitions, and pricing inputs reflect real execution requirements, providing field-informed feedback for quote quality.
- 10Collaborate with Engineering to align product and installation requirements with field realities, and with Services Strategy to convert learnings into scalable service packages and growth opportunities.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 28+ years in services operations, field service leadership, deployment operations, telecom infrastructure, power systems, construction services, or mission-critical infrastructure.
- 35+ years leading large-scale field deployment programs involving multiple sites, customers, subcontractors, or cross-functional stakeholders.
- 4Strong understanding of services execution, installation readiness, commissioning, field quality, and customer program management.
- 5Proven ability to build scalable processes, operating rhythms, and resource models in a growing services environment.
- 6Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- 7Ability to manage customer escalations, program risks, and execution gaps with urgency and professionalism.
- 8Willingness to travel to customer sites, project locations, partner locations, and OmniOn facilities as required.
- 9Preferred: Experience in fiber infrastructure, ILA sites, telecom shelters, central office power, data center infrastructure, or hyperscale network deployment.
- 10Preferred: Familiarity with DC power systems, rectifiers, batteries, power distribution, grounding, and commissioning practices.
