Supervisor Regional Operations, Telecom Fiber Network
Overview
You own field operations for a fiber network serving millions across Phoenix. Lead a team of technicians who install, maintain, and splice fiber optic services. Coordinate with contractors and unions to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Your focus on training and coaching builds a customer-obsessed team that delivers reliable connectivity.
What You'll Do7
- 1Manage daily operations of outside and inside plant network services, including fiber installation, maintenance, and splicing.
- 2Act as the single point of contact for contractors to resolve construction and maintenance issues.
- 3Coach technicians on new processes, quality standards, customer contact, and safety protocols.
- 4Hold the team accountable for attendance and performance metrics.
- 5Represent Forged Fiber with customers and government agencies.
- 6Collaborate with the union to maintain a positive working relationship.
- 7Reward and recognize team achievements to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements9
- 14+ years managing teams in a telecom technical environment.
- 2Experience developing employees through training, coaching, and mentoring in a union environment.
- 3Proficiency in Excel, email, and legacy systems.
- 4Working knowledge of residential and business service installation and maintenance.
- 5Knowledge of splicing and construction processes for telecommunications.
- 6Experience managing contractor relationships.
- 7Ability to work consultatively: build rapport, interview, fact-find, present options, and recommend solutions.
- 8Ability to multitask and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
- 9Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, with 5+ years related experience.
