Senior Manager Events & Field Marketing
Overview
CaptivateIQ seeks a Sr. Manager to own field marketing and event programs driving pipeline and revenue. You will lead conferences, executive programs, and partner events while collaborating with Demand Generation and Sales to create integrated go-to-market initiatives. This role focuses on measurable outcomes such as meetings pipeline and revenue influence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and own a comprehensive field marketing strategy across tradeshows conferences executive dinners roadshows webinars partner events and CaptivateIQ-hosted experiences.
- 2Build integrated event campaigns in partnership with Demand Generation Product Marketing Digital Marketing Content Business Development and Sales to maximize engagement before during and after every event.
- 3Partner with Sales leadership to identify priority accounts territories and event investments that drive meetings opportunities and pipeline.
- 4Evaluate sponsorships conferences and field marketing investments based on business impact target audience alignment expected pipeline contribution and ROI.
- 5Design memorable in-person and virtual experiences that strengthen brand awareness while generating measurable business outcomes.
- 6Define success metrics and forecast event performance across registrations meetings opportunities pipeline and revenue influence.
- 7Establish repeatable operating rhythms for pre-event planning onsite execution post-event follow-up and executive reporting.
- 8Partner with Business Development and Sales to ensure timely follow-up meeting conversion and opportunity progression after every event.
- 9Analyze event performance and communicate business results insights recommendations and future investment strategies to executive leadership.
- 10Own and manage the annual event budget continuously optimizing investments based on performance data and business impact.
- 11Support executive engagement strategies including speaking opportunities customer meetings executive dinners and strategic account interactions.
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading field marketing teams in fast-paced environments
- 35+ years experience planning and executing conferences executive events webinars customer events and virtual experiences
- 4Proven success building field marketing programs that generate measurable pipeline and revenue impact
- 5Strong understanding of demand generation and how events contribute to integrated marketing campaigns
- 6Experience partnering closely with Sales and Business Development to drive meetings pipeline and account engagement
- 7Ability to forecast measure and communicate event performance using pipeline opportunity and ROI metrics
- 8Exceptional project management and cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across Marketing and Sales
- 9Highly analytical with the ability to make investment decisions based on data and business outcomes
- 10Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
