Senior Manager Data Analytics, BI & Project Management
Overview
You will own the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional data analytics and BI projects at KONNECTINGTREE INC, directly driving strategic decisions with Power BI, SQL, and Python. You will orchestrate a team of analysts and engineers, aligning with executives to define metrics that move the business. This role uniquely blends hands-on technical oversight with program leadership in a hybrid on-site environment in Minneapolis. You will transform raw data into executable strategy, making a measurable impact from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead the planning and delivery of data analytics and BI projects, owning scope, timelines, and budgets from kickoff to launch
- 2Drive the design of BI dashboards and reporting frameworks using Power BI and Tableau
- 3Partner with data engineers to optimize pipelines in SQL and Python for reliability and speed
- 4Establish success metrics and KPIs, then track and report progress to executives
- 5Coordinate cross-functional teams, removing blockers and managing risks
- 6Mentor analysts and engineers, fostering a data-driven culture
- 7Ensure data governance and quality standards across projects
- 8Deliver executive-ready insights and presentations
Requirements7
- 15+ years in data analytics or BI project management, with 3+ years leading teams
- 23+ years hands-on with SQL and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
- 3Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and budget
- 4Strong ability to translate business questions into actionable analysis
- 5Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
- 6Excellent communication and executive presence
- 7Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
