Technical Delivery Manager, Data Analytics & Power BI
Overview
You will lead data platform and analytics delivery at Syntrux & Co, owning end-to-end project execution for enterprise-scale clients. Your team of data engineers and analysts builds Power BI dashboards, pipelines, and semantic models across cloud environments. Reporting to the VP of Data Services, you drive technical architecture decisions and stakeholder alignment. This role demands hands-on delivery leadership, not just coordination, with direct impact on client outcomes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Own the delivery roadmap for data platforms, ensuring milestones hit within budget and scope
- 2Design and build Power BI semantic models and dashboards that answer critical business questions
- 3Coordinate with data engineers to deploy Azure data pipelines and Databricks workloads
- 4Conduct technical reviews of SQL queries and Python scripts for performance and accuracy
- 5Lead sprint planning and daily stand-ups with cross-functional analytics teams
- 6Resolve escalations by diagnosing pipeline failures and architecture bottlenecks
- 7Partner with product owners to translate business metrics into technical specifications
- 8Drive adoption of DevOps practices for CI/CD in data delivery, reducing deployment friction
- 9Mentor junior developers on data modeling and Power BI best practices
- 10Present progress reports to executive stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigations
Requirements10
- 15+ years managing data analytics delivery in a client-facing technical role
- 2Expert-level proficiency in Power BI including DAX, M, and row-level security
- 33+ years architecting cloud data solutions on Azure or AWS
- 4Strong SQL skills for complex query tuning and data validation
- 5Proven track record delivering projects using Agile methodologies
- 6Hands-on experience with Python or R for data manipulation
- 7Familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake for large-scale data processing
- 8Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- 9Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 10Ability to travel to King of Prussia, PA for in-person interviews
