Senior Power BI & GCP Data Analytics Consultant
Overview
You will own enterprise analytics and reporting for a Global Financial Institution, designing Power BI solutions and Google Cloud Platform data pipelines that drive process intelligence and Human-in-the-Loop initiatives. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineers to translate complex requirements into scalable dashboards and models. This 6+ month hybrid contract in Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN offers direct impact on decision-making at scale.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and build Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize key business metrics for executive stakeholders.
- 2Develop data models and ETL processes using Google BigQuery and Cloud Storage to support analytics workloads.
- 3Implement Human-in-the-Loop workflows by integrating Power Platform and GCP services with existing systems.
- 4Optimize Power BI performance by fine-tuning DAX queries and report layout for large datasets.
- 5Collaborate with data engineers to define data ingestion and transformation strategies in GCP.
- 6Lead requirements gathering sessions with business users to translate needs into technical solutions.
- 7Document solution architecture and maintain version control for Power BI reports and GCP pipelines.
- 8Provide technical guidance to junior consultants and ensure adherence to best practices.
Requirements9
- 15+ years experience in data analytics with a focus on Power BI and GCP.
- 2Expert-level Power BI skills including DAX, M, and advanced visualizations.
- 3Strong proficiency in Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
- 4Experience with Python or SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- 5Proven track record designing Power BI solutions for enterprise-scale data.
- 6Knowledge of Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes and UI Path or similar RPA tools.
- 7Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 9AWS Certified or GCP Professional Data Engineer certification is a plus.
