Senior Power BI & GCP Data Analytics Consultant
Overview
As a Senior Power BI & GCP Data Analytics Consultant, you will own the design and delivery of analytics solutions for a large financial services client. You will work with Power BI, Google Cloud Platform, and BigQuery to transform raw data into actionable insights. This contract role offers 6 months of engagement with possible extension, and the opportunity to impact critical business decisions.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design and implement Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize key financial metrics.
- 2Build data models and optimize DAX queries for performance and accuracy.
- 3Develop and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform using BigQuery to support analytics needs.
- 4Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- 5Ensure data governance and security standards are met across all analytics deliverables.
- 6Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Power BI and GCP environments.
- 7Document technical solutions and provide training to team members.
Requirements6
- 15+ years of Power BI development experience.
- 23+ years of Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery experience.
- 3Advanced DAX and Power Query skills.
- 4Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- 5Experience with financial services data is a plus.
- 6Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN.
Salary Insight
$144 - $154k per year
