Overview
Manage the employee Political Action Committee (PAC) and lead political compliance in the United States. Oversee PAC operations including strategy development compliance reporting political giving and campaign finance. Drive advocacy campaigns and political engagement strategies while supporting legislative tracking and relationship building with congressional offices and stakeholders.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage the company's employee PAC including compliance reporting executive communications and event coordination
- 2Develop and execute PAC engagement strategies to boost employee participation and increase receipts and membership
- 3Coordinate high impact events such as political fundraisers and policymaker engagements across the U.S.
- 4Enhance political disclosure reporting through streamlined data tracking and benchmark monitoring like the CPA-Zicklin index
- 5Create political compliance training programs with legal teams and external counsel to ensure regulatory adherence
- 6Handle logistics for political events and meetings from pre-event scheduling to post-event follow-up
- 7Support advocacy campaigns and political engagement strategies aligned with Mastercard policy priorities
- 8Conduct policy research and produce briefing materials translating complex issues into actionable insights
- 9Track legislation committee activity and key developments related to Mastercard policy goals
- 10Drive strategic initiatives via project planning and timeline management to guarantee on-time execution
- 11Maintain internal databases for legislative activity stakeholder engagement and policy development
Requirements9
- 15+ years managing PAC operations including strategy development compliance reporting political giving and campaign finance
- 2Strong experience in event planning and project management for high profile gatherings
- 3Excellent written communication skills with persuasive style
- 4Politically astute understanding of U.S. federal government and legislative processes
- 5Self starter organized individual capable of handling multiple priorities with composure and accountability
