What You'll Do7
- 1Lead estimating on ground up work with heavy focus on industrial tilt up and large commercial builds
- 2Dig into drawings and specs to build accurate competitive estimates
- 3Run detailed takeoffs and pricing models from concept through GMP
- 4Handle subcontractor outreach leveling and bid analysis
- 5Partner with ops PM and leadership on strategy and execution
- 6Flag risks and opportunities early before they become problems
- 7Sit in on client presentations and help sell the company as a builder people trust
Requirements6
- 17+ years estimating with a commercial general contractor
- 2Real ground up experience especially industrial work like tilt up warehouses distribution centers or large concrete structures
- 3Track record leading estimates solo from early concept to final pricing
- 4Strong grasp of means and methods particularly structural systems and site work
- 5SoCal subcontractor relationships are a plus
- 6Comfortable moving fast and owning your work
