What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and verify mechanical designs aligned with Building/Energy Codes and LEED standards
- 2Create mechanical and plumbing systems using Revit and specialized engineering software
- 3Perform energy modeling load calculations and generate sustainable design layouts
- 4Present technical concepts to clients and coordinate with architects and contractors
- 5Establish project scopes budgets and timelines while tracking milestones
- 6Manage change orders and prepare comprehensive project budgets
- 7Conduct life cycle cost analysis and develop design recommendations
- 8Lead site observations and sustainability analyses for project success
- 9Review shop drawings and coordinate with cross-discipline teams
- 10Maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication
- 11Assign tasks and mentor junior engineers within the project team
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 5-8 years of mechanical engineering experience in design roles
- 2Professional Engineer certification preferred
- 3Strong proficiency in Revit BIM 360 and EnergyPlus
- 4Expertise in LEED Accreditation and Code compliance
- 5Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with PE license
- 6Advanced analytical skills for energy modeling and system design
- 7Excellent communication abilities for client and team interactions
