What You'll Do11
- 1Lead and inspire high-performing teams designing biochemical cellular assays across therapeutic areas
- 2Establish assay and screening strategies enabling target discovery hit identification and lead optimization
- 3Apply biophysical and cellular approaches to understand target engagement and pathway modulation
- 4Drive adoption of next-generation lead generation technologies including automation and data analytics
- 5Evaluate external technologies for in-licensing partnerships and strategic collaborations
- 6Provide scientific direction and data interpretation to project teams and governance forums
- 7Manage resources across concurrent programs to ensure efficient progression
- 8Mentor scientific leaders and develop emerging talent fostering culture of excellence
- 9Create inclusion by modeling diversity and embedding its value in team management
- 10Develop talent by understanding employee skills and coaching on performance and potential
- 11Empower teams by aligning goals and connecting them to organizational objectives
Requirements9
- 1PhD in biochemistry enzymology biophysics or related field with 15+ years drug discovery experience
- 2Deep expertise in protein-ligand interactions using biophysical and cell-based technologies
- 3Proven success developing biochemical cellular assays for target validation lead generation and SAR optimization
- 4Track record advancing discovery programs from HTS to development candidate nomination
- 5Experience with mass spectrometry-based approaches covalent inhibitors and degraders
- 6Ability to lead senior scientists and drive impact in matrixed organization
- 7Excellent written verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- 8People leadership demonstrating inclusion diversity and talent development
- 9Strategic thinking for resource allocation across multiple programs
