What You'll Do11
- 1Lead a lab-based scientific team, advancing projects and careers
- 2Serve as scientific and technical thought leader across research organization
- 3Collaborate with oncology immune-oncology protein engineering chemistry translational medicine biomarker clinical development experts
- 4Identify project risks and mitigate while communicating with teams and leaders
- 5Proactively ideate to accelerate early-stage discovery and develop novel targeting modalities
- 6Develop expertise in scientific fields and external landscape including literature conferences and competitive programs
- 7Propose creative rigorous research to discover validate and understand targets modalities
- 8Think critically balance risk-taking with thoughtful experimentation
- 9Contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary due diligence teams for partnership evaluations
- 10Contribute to research reports INDs and patent filings
- 11Establish external presence through peer-reviewed publications conference presentations and collaborations
Requirements8
- 1Ph.D. degree and 3+ years experience in tumor biology drug discovery target identification and technology development with post-doctoral training preferred
- 2Strong track record of impact including first or senior author publications and conference presentations
- 3Deep knowledge of cancer genomics and oncogenic signaling
- 4Broad technical skillset covering cutting-edge cancer methods in vitro and in vivo
- 5Expertise in analyzing and therapeutically targeting nucleic acid-protein complexes
- 6Demonstrated success collaborating within research teams to make data-driven decisions
- 7Team-centric mindset motivating diverse background members
- 8Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
