What You'll Do11
- 1Design and execute in vivo studies using xenograft syngeneic and PDX models to evaluate tumor progression and target engagement
- 2Conduct genetic or pharmacological perturbation studies to determine novel oncology target mechanisms
- 3De-risk on-target toxicity through systematic in vivo assay development and analysis
- 4Process and analyze tumor samples while coordinating histopathology services
- 5Perform routine cell culture and biochemical assays to complement in vivo findings
- 6Identify experimental pitfalls and implement independent troubleshooting strategies
- 7Manage daily mouse and rat colony operations including breeding genotyping and IACUC compliance
- 8Analyze complex datasets and present insights to cross-functional project teams
- 9Partner with in vitro biology toxicology and computational teams to advance translational projects
- 10Mentor junior scientists in in vivo techniques study design and best practices
- 11Maintain a safe compliant vivarium environment through meticulous laboratory practices
Requirements7
- 1BS in biology cancer biology molecular biology or related field with 3-5 years lab experience or MS with 5-8 years relevant experience
- 2Authorized to work in United States full-time without sponsorship options
- 3Extensive hands-on experience with in vivo mouse work preferred with rat model expertise
- 4Proven track record with oncology tumor models including xenograft syngeneic GEMM and PDX approaches
- 5Solid knowledge of molecular cellular biology techniques and histology interpretation skills
- 6Demonstrated ability to organize documentation and collaborate across functional boundaries
- 7Strong communication skills with collaborative mindset for effective teamwork
Salary Insight
$71 - $187k per year
