Senior Director Corporate Strategy & Development
Overview
Own Trulioo's strategic blueprint and drive execution of enterprise-wide initiatives, partnering with the Chief Risk & Strategy Officer to shape the future of identity verification. This highly visible role sits at the intersection of strategy, product, and capital allocation, with direct exposure to the Board and executive leadership. Lead the Market Aligned Product Strategy (MAPS) program, build a market intelligence engine, and guide build-buy-partner decisions across 195 countries. You will operationalize strategy into measurable outcomes, leveraging AI tools to enhance decision-making and drive productivity.
What You'll Do8
- 1Test strategic assumptions against market forces, competitive dynamics, and regulatory shifts, authoring recommendations for executives and the Board.
- 2Translate the strategic blueprint into enterprise priorities, functional goals, and execution roadmaps, chairing governance forums to track progress.
- 3Lead the MAPS program, bringing together Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders to evaluate opportunities and decide on build, buy, partner, watch, or pass.
- 4Design and operate a market intelligence engine that delivers forward-looking insights on landscapes, competitive positioning, and customer voice.
- 5Develop capital allocation governance and decision frameworks in coordination with the Office of the CFO, connecting investments to strategic priorities.
- 6Support corporate development by identifying capability gaps, screening targets, and coordinating cross-functional due diligence for acquisitions.
- 7Build scalable models and AI agents to strengthen opportunity screening, target intelligence, and transaction decision-making.
- 8Communicate Trulioo's strategy across the organization, building understanding and alignment on highest-priority activities.
Requirements10
- 115+ years in corporate strategy, corporate development, strategic finance, management consulting, or related leadership roles.
- 2Significant experience in payments, financial services, banking, marketplaces, SaaS, fintech, identity, fraud, or RegTech.
- 3A degree in economics, business, finance, strategy, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4A builder mindset with strong experience deploying AI tools and models to automate processes and transform problem-solving.
- 5Demonstrated experience developing corporate or product strategies and translating them into priorities, roadmaps, and outcomes.
- 6Experience operating in complex, global, and highly cross-functional organizations.
- 7Experience leading large-scale strategic or transformation programs involving multiple executives and dependencies.
- 8Meaningful experience supporting acquisitions, including due diligence, transaction analysis, and integration planning.
- 9Advanced analytical and scenario-planning capabilities, working through ambiguity to make clear recommendations.
- 10Exceptional executive communication skills with materials for leadership, Boards, and external advisors.
Salary Insight
$190 - $240k per year
