What You'll Do9

  • 1Build standard cost models and labor and overhead rates for high volume production.
  • 2Design and analyze product and project costs including material variances and labor efficiencies to drive improvements.
  • 3Conduct physical inventory count reconciliations and reduce discrepancies.
  • 4Support month end general ledger close and prepare journal entries for cost and inventory.
  • 5Assist in budget, forecast, and variance analysis to inform leadership decisions.
  • 6Develop process improvements and procedural controls for cost accounting processes.
  • 7Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and other internal and external financial reporting.
  • 8Support financial reviews and audits conducted by independent auditors.
  • 9Engage in special cost accounting projects as required.

Requirements5

  • 15-10+ years standard Cost Accounting/Analysis experience in a large manufacturing environment
  • 2Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
  • 3Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • 4Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and v lookups
  • 5Valid driver’s license, current proof of insurance and clean driving record
