Overview
The ideal candidate will own commercial tenant improvement projects across a diverse real estate portfolio delivering safe on schedule and budget results. This role serves as the owner`s representative partnering with internal stakeholders tenants and consultants to navigate complex construction challenges and drive successful outcomes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as the owner`s representative for commercial tenant improvements retail repositioning office builds and capital improvement initiatives
- 2Lead project planning including budgeting estimating scheduling scope development and feasibility assessments
- 3Manage architects engineers consultants contractors and vendors throughout design permitting construction and closeout phases
- 4Review construction documents to identify risks constructability concerns and cost-saving opportunities
- 5Coordinate with leasing asset management and operations teams to align project objectives tenant requirements and business goals
- 6Facilitate tenant improvement projects from lease execution through turnover ensuring positive tenant experiences
- 7Oversee procurement contract administration change orders RFIs submittals inspections and documentation
- 8Monitor budgets forecasts schedules and cost-to-complete reporting for financial accountability
- 9Conduct site visits and provide construction oversight to ensure quality safety and milestone achievement
- 10Evaluate building conditions and develop solutions for complex structural and systems challenges
- 11Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining clear communication with leadership and stakeholders
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading tenant improvement projects
- 38+ years construction management experience with commercial tenant improvements
- 4Proven track record managing budgets schedules and contracts from preconstruction through closeout
- 5Familiarity with Procore Autodesk Construction Cloud Bluebeam and Yardi
- 6Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- 7Experience in occupied buildings with minimal tenant disruption
- 8Knowledge of building codes permitting and construction methods
- 9Ability to travel to project sites as needed
