Senior Clinical Director, ABA Therapy Operations
Overview
As Senior Clinical Director, you will own clinical excellence and operational growth for a region delivering 175+ service hours daily across 12+ supervisors and 110+ clients. You will lead a team of BCBAs in homes, centers, schools, and communities, driving quality outcomes through 2XO initiatives. Partner with the Regional Director to elevate autism treatment standards while mentoring next-generation leaders. This role stands apart through direct mentorship of ACDs and leadership of community outreach that expands access to ABA services.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive daily and weekly utilization reviews with supervisors to meet 175+ hours per day and improve client outcomes.
- 2Lead monthly ride-alongs in field and clinic to coach supervisors on case management and QPI standards.
- 3Monitor BCBA billable standards, manage exceptions, and develop intervention plans for underperforming staff.
- 4Own supervisor caseload distribution and capacity planning, updating capacity sheets and credentialing status.
- 5Foster BT/RBT retention through study groups, competency exams, and retention protocols.
- 6Audit billing-to-documentation data monthly and implement performance improvement plans.
- 7Conduct 1:1 and group supervisor meetings, including CEU facilitation, and evaluate pay increases.
- 8Lead the culture team and coordinate initiatives like Autism Awareness Month to build a positive workplace.
- 9Engage in community outreach with physicians, schools, and parent groups to drive regional growth.
- 10Oversee in-clinic services, determining capacity and implementing clinical program initiatives.
Requirements8
- 1BCBA certification and active licensure.
- 21+ years managing operations of a multi-location region in ABA services.
- 3Proficiency with MS Office, including spreadsheets, and project management software.
- 4Track record of supervising 12+ clinical staff and 110+ clients.
- 5Experience with billing standards and QPI metrics in ABA settings.
- 6Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical activities like kneeling and running.
- 7Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- 8Proven leadership in mentoring BCBAs and developing clinical managers.
