Senior Category Manager Global Procurement Organization
Overview
We seek a seasoned professional to lead MHE components sourcing and Ring Smart TDR PERCH sourcing. This role drives supplier development, cost optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration across GPO and Ring. The ideal candidate thrives in fast moving environments and delivers strategic outcomes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Qualify and develop key MHE component suppliers in partnership with Worldwide and Regional Procurement teams
- 2Build strategic supplier relationships to reduce cost compress project lifecycles and improve capital efficiencies
- 3Drive supplier continuous improvement global metrics and Cost Out programs to optimize CapEx spend
- 4Lead sourcing for Smart TDR retrofit and greenfield installations installer development RFP execution and contracting for 2027/2028 deployment cycles
- 5Ensure installer capacity and continuity of supply across multi site deployment schedules
- 6Fulfill sourcing for Ring PERCH program addressing broader hardware needs with GPO best practices
- 7Develop supplier strategies for novel technology categories including LCC supplier identification and qualification
- 8Serve as primary GPO sourcing interface within Ring program structure aligning sourcing strategies with deployment roadmaps
- 9Leverage GPO supplier networks negotiation frameworks and sourcing methodologies to deliver commercial outcomes for Ring
- 10Communicate strategy execution status and results to senior leadership across GPO and Ring
- 11Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously balancing long term supplier development with near term deadlines
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading cross functional teams
- 35+ years experience developing diverse supplier strategies and executing sourcing activities
- 42+ years driving process improvements
- 5Master’s degree in supply chain management operations engineering analytics or related field
- 6Experience with installer/contractor sourcing for multi site deployment programs
- 7Familiarity with Low-Cost Country souring strategies and supplier development
- 8Strong analytical and quantitative skills using data and metrics to build business cases
- 9Ability to dive deep into business projects solution designs and technology innovations
- 10Demonstrated autonomy as an embedded resource while maintaining alignment with GPO standards
