What You'll Do23
- 1Maintain and improve business plan investor presentations and strategic materials for CEO and CLO
- 2Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform corporate strategy and operational decisions
- 3Build and maintain financial plans models and valuation analyses supporting strategic decisions
- 4Prepare executive-ready PowerPoint presentations and Excel analyses for leadership
- 5Participate in investor partner and external meetings alongside CEO and CLO
- 6Leverage Claude and other AI tools to accelerate research analysis and daily productivity
- 7Conduct business intelligence product and financial analysis on prospective licensees and markets
- 8Perform due diligence on patent acquisitions licensing partnerships including market sizing and royalty potential
- 9Support design launch and operation of worldwide licensing programs from concept through execution
- 10Develop and update licensing business plans strategies and pipelines ensuring proper resourcing
- 11Build and maintain consolidated revenue pipeline forecasting across all programs
- 12Create and maintain financial models projecting revenue scenarios estimating damages evaluating deal economics
- 13Research target industries technology landscapes to identify licensing opportunities and assess competitive positioning
- 14Compile data from patent databases industry reports public financial filings and proprietary tools to support business development
- 15Assist in preparing licensing campaign materials including licensing decks financial summaries technology overviews and presentation packages
- 16Ensure all work product is transparent reproducible and well-supported with publicly available data
- 17Prepare written analyses research memos and internal reports summarizing findings on products services technology markets and patent portfolios
- 18Monitor industry news M&A activity product launches and technology trends relevant to licensing campaigns and portfolio strategy
- 19Qualify as recent MBA graduate from top program or actively pursuing one with 0-5 years post-MBA experience in business analysis financial analysis investment banking or management consulting
- 20Proficiency in advanced AI tools such as ChatGPT Claude Gemini Perplexity for research analysis and productivity workflows
- 21Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel financial modeling scenario analysis pivot tables lookups and data visualization
- 22Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for professional reports memos and client-ready presentations
- 23Ability to analyze SEC filings 10-Ks 10-Qs earnings releases and financial statements of public high-tech companies
Requirements14
- 1MBA from top-tier program required or actively pursuing one
- 2Undergraduate degree in Business Finance Economics Engineering or related field
- 3CFA or other advanced credentials a plus
- 40-5 years post-MBA experience in business analysis financial analysis investment banking or management consulting
- 5Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT Claude Gemini Perplexity for research analysis and productivity workflows
- 6Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel financial modeling scenario analysis pivot tables lookups and data visualization
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for professional reports memos and client-ready presentations
- 8Ability to analyze SEC filings 10-Ks 10-Qs earnings releases and financial statements of public high-tech companies
- 9Familiarity with high-tech industry including semiconductor software cloud computing networking mobile or consumer electronics
- 10Working knowledge of SharePoint Microsoft Teams and Windows operating system
- 11Knowledge of intellectual property patent law fundamentals or technology licensing with prior exposure to law firm or patent licensing entity
- 12Exposure to patent damages methodologies reasonable royalty analysis lost profits SSPPU EMVR or technology valuation concepts
- 13Experience building financial models market sizing analyses competitive assessments and business cases
- 14Ability to identify key insights from large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
