Overview
Licensing Analyst leads engagement management valuation support and negotiation preparation at VideoLabs to drive growth within the licensing organization. This launchpad role offers a path to leadership for MBA or JD graduates with 2–9 years experience.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own the status actions and next steps across all active engagements keeping the pipeline tracker accurate and current
- 2Hold the team and licensees accountable by tracking commitments and following up proactively
- 3Coordinate with leadership and manage recurring licensing staff meetings
- 4Drive individual accountability through weekly action summaries and regular one-on-ones
- 5Manage meeting logistics and lead internal preparation for licensee calls
- 6Support valuation and damages analysis alongside technical and financial experts
- 7Maintain engagement plans and track litigation status relevant to each negotiation
- 8Identify and implement improvements to licensing team day-to-day operations
- 9Scale pipeline ownership and transition to direct deal negotiations as demonstrated mastery
- 10Prepare polished licensing presentations and support deal execution
- 11Analyze and improve workflow efficiency for licensing processes
Requirements7
- 1MBA or JD from an accredited institution with 2–9 years post-graduate experience
- 2Exceptional organizational discipline and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
- 3Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with senior executives and licensees
- 4Analytical aptitude with interest in financial valuation and IP strategy
- 5Proficiency with PowerPoint Excel and pipeline CRM tracking tools
- 6Self-starter mentality with urgent drive and constructive accountability
- 7Prior exposure to IP licensing or litigation is a plus but not required
