Security Officer, Perimeter Patrol Driver & Part Time Flexibility
Overview
Security professional role with a flexible, part time anchor schedule at a fixed site in San Diego. You will perform unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain customer service standards while earning through an anchor shift plus potential additional shifts. You’ll join a large nationwide team focused on safety, service, and reliability. This position offers income stability with opportunities to scale up hours as needed.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and perform regular unarmed patrols across the retail location including entrances, parking, and perimeter
- 2Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel
- 3Deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through visible security presence
- 4Document observations and patrol activities accurately and communicate with store management and leadership
- 5Provide excellent customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while following location policies
- 6Support fixed anchor shifts and participate in earning more through the scheduling platform
- 7Maintain security procedures and adapt to location-specific requirements
- 8Coordinate with local teams to ensure consistent security coverage
Requirements9
- 1At least one year of security-related experience
- 2A valid driver’s license
- 3High school diploma or equivalent
- 4State county or city-issued security license preferred
- 5Be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 for armed roles
- 6Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law
- 7Must be able to work a fixed shift with six month commitment and be open to additional shifts
- 8Previous experience in customer service or incident response is a plus
- 9Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods may be required
