Overview
Security Officer is responsible for site-specific access control, incident response, and customer service at a logistics and distribution site. Work a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform to earn more. What You'll Do6
- 1Provide customer service and implement site-specific security procedures including access control
- 2Monitor and control access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries
- 3Respond to alarms and incidents with calm, problem-solving approach and escalate per site procedures
- 4Conduct regular and random patrols of key areas to identify unauthorized activity
- 5Maintain professional communication with site personnel, drivers, and visitors to support traffic flow and compliance
- 6Support emergency response activities when needed at a logistics site
Requirements8
- 1Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3Comfort with using a computer or tablet
- 4Pass background investigation as required by law
- 5Pass drug screening where permitted by law
- 6Licensing requirements may apply per state or local regulations
- 7Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
- 8Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
